Old picture, but because I made an effort to include a background, I still like it now. Had fun messing with costume designs in this, but I recall the pose as being hugely difficult to draw in that time before I used references...

Hey everyone. I've been quiet because I've actually been drawing *gasp*, though since it's on the comic and I'm still holding myself to finishing the chapter first... yeah. I'll probably be putting that up on DrunkDuck so as not to spam those of you who are watching me for other stuff anyway, but I may have character-pages to show soon enough. I'm learning a lot about drawing in normal human proportions and other things, like doing backgrounds with the same care as the figures, so I'm happy with how it's coming along!

It was a cool summer, so I hope it doesn't turn into a terrible winter ><

In the meantime I wanted to link to a friend's comic(s), cuz they're good! What if a ton of cartoon/comic/anime/manga characters, obscure and slightly-less-obscure, were dumped onto a planet together without their memories? Why, it'd be Fight and companion comic Fight 2! I have been enjoying them, so if you're looking for something to read, give 'em a try :)

I'm not sure if I should be happy that he's getting what he deserves by being out there in the main stream and getting good money...

Or horribly disappointed that he's going to be in twilight...Goddamnit Michael Sheen!!!

... He also doesn't look good trying to be a suave vampire. I prefer him as a scruffy, blood caked Lycanthrop with relationship issues.

At least he's in the new Alice in Wonderland movie... but that's also going to be mostly Tim Burton throwing around JD as the mad hatter, like the little JD publicity whore he likes to be. :|

I have hopes for it.. but they're a little.. shaky.

Wow, I hadn't heard of that. But, yeah, a Tim Burton movie with Johnny Depp... is probably mostly gonna be about Johnny Depp. Nothing wrong with some Johnny Depp, buuuuttt... with Alan Rickman too? Gee, now, *that* movie might be worth seeing :D
